SOFTWARE
As most digital photographers these days I use Photoshop CS5 a lot with my work and I use Lightroom as well but to a lesser degree. I am trying to learn how to better use Lightroom as I believe some parts of it have a potential benefit to my workflow.
Photomatix
I use Photomatix Pro as part of the process for ALL of my HDR images. It's a must have! At $99 it's much less expensive than most photography software and if you use my special discount code you can save almost $15 off that price. For those of you who would like to try it but aren't quite ready to make the leap and buy the software you can go to the Photomatix site and download the free trial version of the Photomatix software. Or if you have decided to purchase the program go to the Buy Photomatix Pro and enter the discount code 'specksonthemap' and courtesy of the great people at Photomatix receive a 15% discount on your purchase.
In addition to Photomatix Pro I use Adobe Photoshop CS5, Lightroom 3, Topaz Adjust 5, Topaz Clean 3, and Topaz DeNoise 5.
